Tool
OpenScholar (Ai2 / University of Washington)
Open retrieval-augmented model that answers research questions from 45 million open-access papers with citations; model, index and data are public.
What is reported
The Nature study reports better citation-grounded synthesis on ScholarQABench than several tested baselines. These benchmark results are not a general guarantee of accurate literature reviews.
Before you use it
The benchmark covers computer science, physics, neuroscience and biomedicine rather than social science. Coverage and retrieved citations still need independent checking.
